Our core expertise includes civil, environmental, instrumentation, electrical, electronic, water line, sewer line, drainage and forensic design and testing. Our offices include research and development facilities, state of the art design and drafting stations, and a laboratory for materials testing, general testing and microscopic analysis capable of a wide variety of testing, including concrete testing, asphalt testing, soil testing, aggregates testing and environmental testing, such as asbestos analysis. Recent projects include public swimming pool liner designs (Virginia Graeme Baker, or VGB compliant) and drainage designs, roof anchor testing, asbestos and lead abatement designs, construction materials testing for public works and commercial projects, fuel release remedial designs, fuel release prevention device design and many other types of design projects and testing projects.
Our services also include professional project management and contract management, environmental consulting, safety testing, and expert witness testimony. Our typical year includes multiple lead paint, asbestos and mold survey and abatement projects, starting from building inspection, through design, project management, air sampling (environmental and OSHA) and clearance air testing or wipe testing. A typical year also includes environmental advice, management and remedial design of fuel or chemical spills, including Phases I, II and III of environmental site assessment, emergency response, design, remedial and project management, restoration design and management, and regulatory compliance / report generation to the point of 'no further remediation necessary'.
